A Week After He Was Reported Missing, a Standard Media Group Journalist Was Discovered Dead at His Home

Joshua Nanjero Bisengo, a well-known cartoonist and journalist, was missing for a week before being discovered dead at his home in one of Nairobi's estates. 

His coworkers were concerned when he unexpectedly quit posting on Facebook and became quiet last week. "I can't believe you're no longer with us," she said on his Facebook page.


Standard Media Group is in shock and mourning after a journalist working for the company was discovered deceased inside his home.

Joshua Nanjero Bisengo, a well-known cartoonist and journalist, was missing for a week before being discovered dead at his home in one of Nairobi's estates.

His coworkers were concerned when he unexpectedly quit posting on Facebook and became quiet last week.

When they attempted to contact him, they discovered that his phone had been turned off.

Lovey Shirley, the deceased's niece, verified the deceased's death on social media.

"Uncle, may you rest in peace. "I can't believe you're no longer with us," she said on his Facebook page.

His death occurred less than a week after his birthday.

Bisengo was a well-known cartoonist who contributed to the Nairobian Newspaper, which is part of the Standard Media Group.

The Peculiar with Josh Nanjero was a journalist who used to tell tales by sketching cartoons while narrating them.
