While the war between Russia and Ukraine continues for the fourth day in a row, the United Nations has reported that a total of 240 Ukrainian citizens have lost their lives as a result of the war. Reporting to Our Correspondent... (continued)
According to a statement issued today, February 27, 2022 by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), a total of 160,000 Ukrainian citizens have fled the country.
The statement came a day after the Ukrainian Army published what they claimed was the beginning of Russia's loss.
According to a post on his Facebook page, more than 3,500 Russian soldiers involved in the raid have been killed and nearly 200 have been taken prisoner.
They added that Russia has also lost 14 planes, 8 helicopters, and 102 tanks so far.

That comes as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reiterates his call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to withdraw troops from Russia.
At a press conference, Guterres described the situation, saying, "We are seeing Russian military operations within the free zone of Ukraine at a level that Europe has not seen for decades." Day after day, it has become clear that these one-sided measures are in direct conflict with the UN Charter.
All members shall refrain from engaging in any international act of incitement to commit an act of incitement against the territorial dignity or political freedom of any state, or in any other manner contrary to the purposes of the United Nations."
