Croatia, Spain, Serbia will host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

The 2018 World Cup winners Croatia, Spain, Serbia and Germany have booked tickets for next year’s World Cup in Russia.

Croatia qualified after beating Russia 1-0, Spain also registered a 1-0 victory over Sweeden, while Serbia stunned the European champions in 2016 when Portugal beat them 2-1 in Lisbon.

7 European nations have qualified for the World Cup from Europe led by defending champions France, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Serbia and Spain.

Five-time world champions Brazil have also secured tickets from South America.

Qatar have also qualified for the race as hosts.

The European teams that qualified for the qualifiers after finishing in second place in their respective categories are North Macedonia, Portugal, Russia, Scotland and Sweden.

In Africa the third and final round qualifiers are Congo DR, Egypt, Ghana, Mali, Morocco and Senegal.

The second round matches in Africa, the World Cup qualifiers conclude on Tuesday in the same way as in Europe.
