Kenyan gospel singer Janet Otieno is in Tanzania and when she landed at the airport she spoke to reporters where she said her singing career started in Tanzania.
He explained that he would be interviewed at several news outlets and served on gospel meetings.
Otieno praised Christina Shusho who says he held her hand and started singing despite the fact that she was a newcomer to the profession.
He said he really liked Shusho with whom they collaborated on the song “Napokea Kwako” which was his very first song.
The song came out in 2013 but she started singing in church in 2010.
His debut song won him the Mwafaka award and he was nominated for the Groove Award in the Collaboration of the Year award in 2014.
Since then he has managed to release songs such as Seek Me, It’s You, Fill Me, I Will Wait, Calm, Wake Up and Play, More of you, Respect and Lead Me.
