The Kenya Film Commission (KFC) is continuing its plan to create film production clubs in secondary schools. The latest school to be reached under the scheme is Tengecha Girls’ High School located in Kericho County.
KFC’s Facebook, more than 320 high school students are enrolled in a film production club, which the commission says reflects the high level of enthusiasm students have for filmmaking.

The film commission headed by director general Mr. Timothy Owase is committed to ensuring that talents are developed and students are prepared to have the highest level of proficiency in filmmaking.
Other schools that have been reached under the program are Kabianga Boys ‘High School, Moi Girls’ High School in Eldoret, Kapsabet Boys ‘High School and Nembu Girls’ High School.
