Sabina Chege, a Murang’a Woman Representative, has disclosed that the whole Mt Kenya area has been brainwashed to think that ODM Leader Raila Odinga is not a normal person.
Sabina told media on Monday that the vote-rich Mt. Kenya area had a distorted view of the Opposition leader as a result of the misinformation spread against him.
She said that Railaphobia caused the area to fear him, which prevented him from winning the president in the previous two elections since he could not be readily marketed to the people.
“At first, we were informed Raila isn’t even human. “We were all terrified of him,” she said.
Sabina, who is running for the Murang’a governor seat in the 2022 General Election, said she has come to see that Raila is a nice guy, not the monster portrayed in the media.
“But now that we’ve got access to him, he’s a really kind guy.”
She described him as “a really nice family guy, a person who is extremely attentive of other people, and a down-to-earth person.”
Raila’s circumstances are turning for the better, she said, thanks to multiple excursions he’s taken to the Mt. Kenya area.
“I’m certain that we can now discuss whether Raila Odinga can run for president.”
“I’m no longer terrified of being linked to him,” she says.
“He’s just like any other leader.” As a regional leader, I have a duty to assist my people in combating the fear,” she stated.
Thanks to Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta, both Jubilee Party Vice-Chairman David Murathe and Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia have admitted to being among those who propagated falsehoods about Raila Odinga.
