Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, popularly known as Rayvanny, who is registered with WCB Wasafi company, has been very proud of the work he is preparing, saying there is no music video all over Tanzania that is more expensive than that.
It has now been revealed that the cost is through a house he built at a cost of six million Tanzanian shillings and set it on fire to bring realism to the video.
The video is about the song “I Miss You“, a collaboration between Rayvanny and Zuchu, and is about love. In the drama, Rayvanny comes to the point of despair and pours oil on his house and sets it on fire, but is rescued and given first aid in an ambulance.
The attendant pulls the phone out of his pocket and it appears that Zuchu is calling him.
Vanny Boy posted a photo of the fire on Instagram and wrote, “Tell them this is Bongo Tanzania, not Hollywood.”
Ricardo Momo, one of WCB’s artists’ managers, confirmed that Rayvanny had set fire to the house he had built in preparation for the music video.
Rayvanny had been rumored to be in the process of leaving the WCB, but their song, based on a YouTube video, is WCB Wasafi’s work, and there is no logo for his Next Level Music music company, NLM.
