Winnie Nwagi and Fik Fameika Banned in England for Ten Years

Winnie Nwagi and Fik Fameika are barred from entering England for ten years! The organizer of concerts in England, Maama Afrika, seems to have fulfilled his threat to seek an order from the government of that country to prevent Ugandan musicians Winnie Nwagi and Fik Fameika from touring there.

Reports indicate that the British government has issued an order to prevent the two from entering it after Maama Afrika sued them for violating their agreement to organize concerts in London.

About two weeks ago, Maama Africa complained that Swangz Avenue artists Winnie Nwagi and Fik Fameica arrived late at the venue where she had organized a concert for them and sang for a short time before leaving after it was over.

Maama Africa wanted to be paid a compensation of 65 thousand euros, equal to 7.8 million Kenyans, saying she had paid 5 thousand euros, equal to 6 lakh Kenyans, so that the artists could perform in London, but they did not satisfy the fans.

The two artists are also blamed for using the work permits that Maama Africa found for them to perform at another festival called “Chill and Grill,” which he observed is against professional ethics.

He spoke in an interview with an online program where he said that the action he would take against the musicians was determined to teach them professional ethics.

Maama Africa now wants the ban to be issued to other musicians under the management of Swanz Avenue, namely Azawi and Vinka.
